Multimedia Cart: Rawls 2013 has a cart with a display, laptop connections and wireless video to present the room PC. Remote control and manual control buttons are available to operate the power, volume, and inputs.
Room PC: The PC is located on the second shelf. A blue light indicates that the PC is powered on. A mouse and keyboard are also available to use with the room PC.
Laptop Connection: Rawls 2013 has HDMI and network cables available.

Wireless Video: Rawls 2013 supports wireless video to stream content from a laptop or mobile phone to the display. Set the display to HDMI-2 to show the AirMedia pairing screen. Connect your device to PAL 3.0 or Eduroam. Enter the IP address and the 4-digit code located at the bottom corner into your web browser.
Video Conferencing: Rawls 2013 supports Zoom and Teams video conferencing with provided cameras and microphones. Contact Peggy Blessing at (765) 494-0773 to reserve this technology.
Hardware: There is a provided webcam, Jabra wireless microphone and poly conference camera. The webcam is connected to the display. The wireless microphone needs to be plugged in via USB.
The PolyCom conference camera captures video and audio from any location around the conference table. The camera changes position based on who is speaking at that moment. The PolyCom camera works best for small groups.
Software: Rawls 2013 supports Zoom and Microsoft Teams for video conferencing. Please create your meeting ahead of time. The room’s cameras and microphones are available to be used with the room PC for your conference.
Zoom can be accessed through the app on the PC, by logging in online, or through Brightspace.
To access Microsoft Teams, use the app on the PC, or login through Office 365.

Telecommunications: This room is equipped with telecommunications equipment. The Cisco conference telephone is good for small groups of people and the Sound Base speakerphone is better for larger groups. If dialing a number outside of Purdue system, dial 7 before the phone number.
To make a call:
1. Dial a phone number into the number pad.
2. Press the Speakerphone button or Call hotkey to start.
3. Press the Volume control bar to adjust the audio.
4. Press the Speakerphone button or End Call hotkey to end call.
To make a conference call:
1. Dial a phone number into the number pad.
2. Press the Speakerphone button or Call hotkey to start.
3. Press the Conference button.
4. Dial in another phone number.
5. Press the Conference button to merge lines.
6. Repeat 4 and 5 to add more lines to the call.
7. Press the Speakerphone button or End Call hotkey to end call.
