Cameras: Rawls 2077 is equipped with a student and presenter camera available for video conferencing and classroom recordings. BoilerCast: Rawls 2077 has BoilerCast capture for classroom recordings for asynchronous viewing. This room supports two types of recordings: device and software captures.

Software captures can be scheduled in advance or via ad hoc. Software capture will only capture the PC source from the Crestron Control Panel.

Device captures support all of the cameras and hardware in the classroom. They utilize the RoboSHOT USB and PTZ Pro 2 cameras, as well as all of the Crestron Control Panel sources from projector 1.  Audio is captured with the wireless and ceiling microphones. It is best to use these for better audio quality.

You must pre-schedule your device captures at www.purdue.edu/boilercast before the class. To publish or access your recording, go to mediaspace.itap.purdue.edu or access Kaltura media through Brightspace.

Video Conferencing: Rawls 2077 supports Zoom and Microsoft Teams for video conferencing. Please create your meeting prior to arriving. Cameras and microphones are available to be used with the lectern PC for your conference.

Zoom can be accessed through the app on the PC, by logging in online, or through Brightspace.
