How do I get access to MS-Visio and MS-Project

Program Information

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is a collection of software products and learning resources for faculty and student educational use.  Formerly branded as Microsoft Imagine or Microsoft DreamSpark, many popular Microsoft products are available for installation on personally owned computers for academic teaching and learning use.


Note: The software available through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching cannot be used for personal or University activities outside direct teaching and learning pursuits.  The software cannot be used for any commercial or Purdue business activities.


Popular Microsoft software available through the Azure Dev Tools for Teaching include:

  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Visio
  • Visual Studio

Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching is available to Purdue faculty and students for installation on personally owned computers at:

Sign-in Information

  1. Click on the Sign in button
  2. Enter your @purdue.edu e-mail address
  3. Click Next
  4. Select the Work or school account option
  5. Log in with your Purdue credentials

Once logged into the Microsoft Education Hub, click on the Software link in the center section of the webpage.  Available Microsoft products should appear in the right-most section. 

Once your association with Purdue ends, all software installed on personally owned computers through this program must be removed.

Purdue staff can also access this software to facilitate use of the products by faculty or installation of products in University student instructional computer labs.  The software cannot be used by staff for personal activities or Purdue activities that do not directly relate to instruction.
